My name is Jessica Hanflink, and I am from Ormond Beach, Florida. I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2022 (wahoowa!) and am currently in my 3rd year of medical school. I love working out, cooking, gardening, playing with my two cats (Soot and Remy), reading, and spending time with my family.

I have 3 siblings, 2 girls and one boy. During the summer of 2022 we decided to get genetic testing done in lieu of my paternal aunt dying of breast cancer. In an unfortunate turn of events, my older sister, younger sister, and I all tested positive for BRCA1.

And thus my BRCA journey began. I am excited to take you all on this journey with me and hopefully give you some inspiration. The goal of this page is to provide BRCA+ individuals with hope, insight, some laughs, and hopefully resonate with the BRCA+ population.
