My name is Jessica Hanflink, and I am from Ormond Beach, Florida. I recently graduated from the University of Virginia (wahoowa!) and am currently working in a Neuroscience research lab while applying to medical school. I love working out, cooking, and spending time with my family.

I have 3 siblings, 2 girls and one boy. I have an older sister, I am the second oldest, and a younger brother, and another younger sister. During the summer of 2022 we decided to get genetic testing done; my older sister and I tested positive and my younger brother tested negative. My youngest sister can’t get tested until she turns 18.

And thus my BRCA journey began. I am excited to take you all on this journey with me and hopefully give you some inspiration.
